Q: What’s all this talk about “Zero” and “Getting-to-Zero?”
A: Long story short, in QBA’s terminology, “Zero” refers to optimal positioning of the shoulder and elbow of the throwing arm, backed by more than two decades of QB coaching and study of throwing mechanics. To learn first-hand about the difference the Zero principle makes in terms of throwing power, accuracy, release speed, and consistency, register for a QBA camp today.
Q: What is the “Off Season Development” camp?
A: * Formerly our “Power camp”
* Three-day preseason preparation camp with 5:1 Player-to-Coach ratio.
* Emphasis on learning Self-Correct skills, game-readiness, and focus on balancing all phases of a QB’s responsibilities.
The camp includes a very intense schedule, two evaluations by a master certified coach and our best coaching staff we have available.
Q: What is the “Preseason Preparation” camp?
A: * Formerly our “Position camp”
* Two-day preseason preparation camp with 10:1 Player-to-Coach ratio.
* Emphasis on learning Self-Correct skills, game-readiness, and focus on balancing all phases of a QB’s responsibilities.
Q: What’s the minimum age requirement for participating in QBA camps?
A:Because of the intensity, pace, and volume of reps, QBA camps are for athletes ages 8-18. Players are peer-grouped by age and skill level to maximize the benefits. As they advance, players will be evaluated for accelerated training in ProspecTRAK.
Q: Where did QB NEXT go?
A:QB NEXT, our youth quarterback program, is still a large part of QBA. In order to maintain the high level of instruction that you are used to, QBA has combined the QB Next camp with the main camp. Players will still be peer-grouped by age and skill level to maximize the benefits.

Q: Is there a camp experience that’s suitable for players younger than 7th grade?
A:QB Next is a special training curriculum created for youth quarterbacks, and featuring dedicated youth-specific coaches. Parents are encouraged to attend camp sessions.
Q:What’s the difference between QB-only camps and camps that include receivers? What’s the minimum age requirement for participating in QBA camps?
A:Our QB-only camps emphasize skill development and control, more so than repetition or route throwing. Installing the Self-Correct mechanics doesn’t require receivers. Meanwhile, in QBA camps that include receivers, QBs gain a development opportunity different but equally valuable to sessions focused exclusively on QBs.
Q: What makes QBA camps different from other QB training?
A:QBA’s dynamic, sequential Self-Correct training accelerates the development process. Our standardized system, built on a common language, closes the generation gap and gives us immediate access to the heart of the athlete for real change. QBA training modules can mature an athlete’s skills as much as a full grade-level in a single camp. Self-Correct mechanics make the development real and the difference lasting.
Q: How do QBA camps compare to college camps?
A:QBA camps stimulate development through guaranteed reps, individual coaching, and attention of Self-Correct fundamentals to every athlete in attendance. College camps also have excellent coaches on staff, but their primary mission is evaluating and recruiting prospects. The difference: QBA’s goal is developing athletes, while college camps exist mainly to find college-ready players and focus most of their attention on recruiting them.
Q: What are the benefits of attending multiple QBA camps?
A:Development is a process. QBA’s Self-Correct system gives QBs the ability to make adjustments under pressure. The more opportunities a player has for “cracking the code,” the more his development will accelerate.
